Jubon Juweelen Celebrates its 4th Birthday
By Co-Owner: Bonnie Meier

Our biggest event of the year is just around the corner. We will be celebrating our 4th birthday on November 6, 7, and 8. Everything in the store will be discounted. We will fill the store with balloons. All the red ones will contain discounts ranging from 10% - 40% off coupons. Free balloons will be given out to children and a free disc golf mini will be given with each disc golf purchase.

We will be open from 10:07 a.m. – 5:13 p.m. all three days. This is a good time to shop for holiday gifts such as Delft collectibles; Dutch tree ornaments; wooden shoe slippers; antiques; American Girl crafts; doll clothes; new, used and collectible books; French soap; puzzles; and notions for sewing, knitting and quilting as well as your holiday decorations. This is the only time all year that the whole store is discounted. It only happens three days a year.

New Items
By Co-Owners: Bonnie Meier and Juliana Korver

We have just received many new Dutch food items including ovengebakken shuttels, which is an onion/cheese cracker and Conimex, which is a chip from Indonesia that comes in four different flavors.

We just took part in a Vendor’s Fair at the Souix Golf and Country Club in Alton and gave samples of the Java flavor Conimex. It was a big hit selling out of all the bags that we had taken along. In fact Lee had to bring us a few more before we closed down.

In the notions section, we are now carrying continuous zippers. We have so many people that want unusual sized zippers that we have started carrying long, continuous zippers that allow you to cut them off where appropriate and sew the end to make the perfect length zipper for any of your projects.

We continually get in old and new Delft objects and well as new Dutch towels.
