Remsen family Dentistry

By Co-Owner: Bonnie Meier

Through the years, Dr. Joiner has been blessed with patients from the entire region.  Over the past several years with the addition of two employees from the Remsen area, the number of Remsen patients has grown.  With the addition of Dr. Zwart and their only dentist moving her practice out of town, the opportunity was ideal to open a practice in Remsen.  Between Dr. Joiner and Dr. Zwart the Remsen office will be open two and a half days per week.  This will not affect the Orange City location, as Dr. Joiner will be in Orange City Monday through Thursdays and one Friday a month while practicing in Remsen on an opposite Friday.  Dr. Zwart will be there on Mondays and Thursdays.  If you live close to Remsen, the office number is 712-786-1644

In July Dr. Zwart joined the Joiner Family Dentistry in Orange City.  Dr. Zwart was raised in Sioux County and graduated from Unity Christian High School.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Dordt College, where he majored in biology.  After graduating, Dr. Zwart and his wife Tonia moved to Iowa City.  While there, Dr. Zwart attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and received his doctorate of dental surgery degree.

We welcome Remsen Family Dentistry to Jubon.

Sherwood Forest Experimenting with e-Bay

By Co-Owner: Bonnie Meier

About ten days ago Sherwood Forest Grants and Consulting entered their first item on e-Bay.  They will be experimenting until the first of the year when they hope to offer it as a new service to the public.  At this time it appears that the cost to have SFG enter an object for you will be the actual cost from e-Bay plus a $3 handling charge.  That includes entering up to 12 pictures to show off your product.  SFG can take the photos for you if you wish.  If a product does not sell, then the SFG handling fee and the e-Bay insertion fee will be your only cost.  If your object does sell e-Bay takes their percentage plus Sherwood Forest will take a consignment fee as well.  Once an item sells, it will then be shipped through Jubon Juweelen's UPS service.  Typically the shipping is paid by the buyer (depending on how you set up the sale).

SFG asks that you write up your own description of the item to sell.  If you need help coming up with a description, it is good to go on-line and find similar objects and use some of their ideas.  It is also useful to go on-line to get ideas of prices to charge.  Statements will be sent to you at the end of each month with any fees plus any checks you have coming from e-Bay.  At this time SFG is still in the experimental stages, but plan to start offering this officially January 1, 2013.
