PUMPKINLAND is back on Jubon. PUMPKINLAND is owned and operated by Dave and Helen Huitink and is located 2 ¾ north of Orange City on Jackson Avenue. PUMPKINLAND opens the first weekend in September and is open until the end of October each fall. It features a corn maze, a unique fall fest of autumn produce and crafts and is fun for the whole family.

PUMPKINLAND sells many varieties of pumpkins – either already picked or pick your own, watermelons, a large selection of squash, apples, gourds, ornamental corn and popcorn. They also sell a large assortment of fall crafts, jam, jellies, and baked goods. A petting zoo is also featured in Animal-Land. They are open Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 a.m. till dark. Blue Mountain Culinary Emporium

Blue Mountain Culinary Emporium is back on Jubon. They are located on the southeast end of Orange City at 814 Lincoln Place SE on the drive up to our new hospital. Their current hours are Tuesday – Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. At one time they had longer hours including noon hour, but a damaging fire in March 2011 put them out of business for some time. Thankfully, they are up and running again. Fires always cause challenges and it is really nice to have them as a part of our community again. Jubon Juweelen To Celebrate 2nd Birthday

It is hard to believe that Jubon Juweelen (the retail child of Jubon, LLC) will be celebrating their 2^nd birthday on November 3. The actual celebration will start Thursday, November 1 and will continue through Saturday, November 3. There will be free helium filled balloons for the children and almost everything in the store will be on sale. To find your discount you make your purchases and then pop a red balloon. All red balloons contain discounts anywhere from 10% - 40%.

Be sure and check Jubon.biz during the week because there will be a new coupon everyday that can be used in addition to the balloon discounts.  Last year one customer had several hundred dollars worth of Christmas items that he wanted to purchase. He popped a balloon and received a 10% discount. However, he then pulled one of Jubon’s coupons out of his pocket that said he could pop two balloons and take the best discount of the two. He picked another balloon and it contained a 30% off slip. He was very pleased as we deducted a large amount from his invoice.

Jubon Juweelen is located in Orange City kitty-corner from the Windmill Park (in the center of town) at 107 3^rd Street NE.
