Our newest Jubon family member is Visser Brothers Plumbing & Heating. Sixty years ago Visser Brothers was started in Orange City, Iowa. The company is located at 400 8th Street SW. They have years of experience in all areas of the industry. Vissers is a full service company that performs plumbing and heating services from residential heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality systems repair and replacement to commercial and industrial system design, installation and maintenance. They analyze needs and provide solutions. Paul Visser is president and the company has 14 employees.

They are open from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m on Saturday. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

They sell Energy Star rated heating and cooling equipment. Vissers are a member of the Orange City Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Better Business Bureau, a supporter of area school and youth activities and are licensed, bonded and insured. Welcome Jubon Juweelen

Jubon Juweeken is a dba of Jubon, LLC. The opening date for the new business is tentatively set for November 1. Juweelen is a Dutch word that means Jewels and is pronounced (u vail en). The business concept started as a notions store selling knitting, sewing and quilting supplies. But it has evolved into adding beads, fine used books, antiques, décor items, a featured artist and golf discs (see related article). The first featured artist is Ron Netten who makes beautiful pottery. Orange City has not had many of the items to be sold at Jubon Juweelen since Ben Franklin closed three years ago.

Golf Discs at Jubon Juweelen

Juliana Korver, a five-time disc golf world champion, and her husband, Shawn Sinclair, also a professional disc golf player will supply the disc golf section of Jubon Juweelen. Hundreds of discs will be available including many very reasonably priced used discs which may come in handy if you play the disc golf course in Alton that plays along water most of the holes.
